SMSF Administration

The decision to start a Self Managed Superannuation Fund is an important one that should be considered carefully. One of the most important decisions you can make is who to employ to help you through the process.

Superannuation is a highly regulated and complex industry that requires specialist knowledge and experience. We have seen many examples where people have dismissed the difficulty of running a self managed superannuation fund, only to end up in a compliance mess that is costly to fix. Making the right choice about who to assist you to run your fund can make its ownership a hassle free rewarding and enriching experience.

Getting Started

If you are interested in establishing a fund or having your existing self managed superannuation fund administered by The Super Group, please contact us to arrange an appointment. We welcome the opportunity to further discuss how we can help you.

To arrange an appointment, please click here or call 02 9328 9328.

During your first, complimentary and obligation free consultation (which can be in person, or by telephone) one of our senior team will take you through the fundamentals of SMSF administration and our approach to it. It provides you with the opportunity to understand whether an SMSF is an appropriate structure for you, including understanding the costs and trustee obligations associated with running an SMSF.

Following this conversation you will need to complete an Establishment Form to enable us to set up your fund:

SMSF Establishment Form and Instructions.

Unlike many SMSF administrators, we sign an administration agreement with you which clearly sets out the respective responsibilities of each party.

For a copy of our Administration Agreement, please click Administration Agreement July 2014.

Once established, your fund will be administered according to our comprehensive, client focussed administration methodology which aims to make the experience of running your own fund as rewarding and easy as possible.
